for saunas with 141-294 ft³ adjusted volumeFor Saunas With an Adjusted  Volume of 141-294 Cubic Feet (ft³)

"Adjusted volume" is the interior volume of a sauna (i.e. Width  x  Depth  x  Height) plus an adjustment to account for "cold surfaces" in the sauna (i.e. glass, tile, stone, etc. — but not including the floor). This adjustment is typically around +20% but can be more if your sauna has lots of cold surfaces (i.e. multiple large windows).

This heater is rated for use in saunas with an adjusted volume of 141 - 294 ft³, which includes most 3-4 person saunas (based on average  sauna sizes, layouts & interior cold surfaces). Your sauna may differ. We strongly recommend taking 20 seconds to verify your sauna's adjusted volume to ensure that this 6.0 kW heater has sufficient power to heat your sauna.

If your sauna's adjusted volume is more or less than this heater's 141-294 ft³ range, click here to see other kW powers available for this same heater.

Additional Information

The Harvia Cilindro PC90 electric sauna heater contains a massive amount of stones. Thanks to the grate-like outer shell, each bather can adjust the nature of the steam: soft when throwing water onto the side of the heater and sharp when throwing water straight on top of the stone pillar. Cilindro is impressive to both look at and experience.
